A Word From The Project Manager
"After releasing the Multiplayer Demo
I realized that I made a mistake in not including some key information
about this project that has led to a lot of confusion outside of the
Seriously!
community," said John Turner. "Serious
Sam Forever, for those who are not aware, is a total conversion
mod for Serious
Sam 2. This means you must have Serious Sam 2
installed in order to play this demo."
"This is not a standalone product and it most certainly is not
a mod for Serious Sam: The Second Encounter as one
site has described it. It is a mod for a game we feel has been underappreciated:
Serious Sam 2. It is a gift to a community we have
loved for a very long time and it is a tribute to Croteam."
"Also, Serious Sam Forever is very different
from Serious
Sam HD and they should not be compared. If you want to
know what the differences are then just try it out. Serious
Sam 2 is really cheap to buy if you do not already have it."
"We hope you enjoy it. Post in the official Serious
Sam Forever forum and let us know what you think of it!"

Prophets of Sam announces Serious Sam Forever
Multiplayer Demo!
"After nearly four years of development and over 1000 revisions,
many rewrites, and nearly starting over," John Turner began.
"Phase one of Serious Sam Forever's development is over!"
"We are announcing the completion of the Multiplayer Demo featuring
four maps, four game modes, and four hundred bots--given the right
hardware conditions--on the twenty-fourth of January, 2010."
"The highlight of the demo, the multiplayer AI Bot system, is
unparalleled in any time period and will give new and long-time players
alike a fun new way to experience Serious Sam! Play alongside human
and AI players in some of your favorite game modes like Capture the
Flag and Deathmatch!"
"The team presents this gift to the community in the hopes of
sparking a few million more hours of serious fun. Be sure to post
videos of your exploits!"
You can download the Serious Sam Forever Multiplayer Demo from the
official project
website.

Prophets of Sam announces Serious Sam Forever
MP Open Beta!
"With all the Serious Sam HD hype going around and the questions
it has generated about Serious Sam Forever," began John Turner,
Project Manager of Prophets of Sam. "We thought it would be a
good idea to show the world what Forever has in store for them."
"The Multiplayer Open Beta features three maps and supports four
game types: Capture the Flag, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and 3-Way
Deathmatch. The Beta also features our new Multiplayer AI Bot system.
You will be able to play online with up to 16 friends and as many
bots as your PC can handle. If you can host more than 100 bots be
sure to post a video!"
You can sign-up for the Beta by filling out the
application form on the website. We will only use your contact information
for the purposes of further development and to announce future releases.
